However, if you have any specific concerns or questions about product compatibility, we recommend consulting with a dermatologist or reaching out to our skincare consultants for personalized recommendations at info@meagaglow.com
What is the product expiration date?
All Meaga Glow products have a 1 year shelf life, and nothing will be shipped out with less than a 6 month expiration date. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat.

Yes — Meaga Glow is proudly cruelty free and thoughtfully formulated without parabens or sulfates.
What is the normal color range for C.E. Glow?
C.E. Glow can range from clear to a darker yellow depending on when it was manufactured. Since vitamin C naturally oxidizes, it will get more yellow over time. Once it is brown, it is no longer effective.
Can I use copper and Vitamin C products together, or do they cancel each other out?
There is conflicting and non-conclusive data to suggest that both Retinol and Vitamin C are affected by the use of copper. Our lab has formulated all of our products to synergically work together in tandem, therefore, we do not have a protocol to avoid using Bounce Serum or Dew Drops if you are applying Vitamin C or Retinol. As research continues to evolve, our position may at some point change, but right now we do not have any conclusive and solidified data to suggest the exact formulations and combinations we have should not be used together. You always want to allow the face to dry down about 3-4 minutes after cleansing before applying a retinol. Typical rule of thumb is to allow 1-2 minutes for the product to absorb before applying or layering the next product.
What is the difference between copper and copper peptides? Which one do we use?
Our copper complex has two amino acids along with Methyl Glucoside Phosphate attached to the copper. Both a copper peptide and our copper complex aim at addressing collagen and elastin production. Copper peptides usually signify the combination of copper and amino acids. Historically, you would clearly see the words “peptide and copper” noted on the ingredient list. However, something to note, a peptide is just a chain of amino acids; some are tri, tetra, etc. Our copper complex is basically copper combined with additional amino acids. It consists of Methyl Glucoside Phosphate Proline Lysine Copper Complex. The word “complex” is in relation to all of the ingredients listed in tandem. We have copper combined with two amino acids and Methyl Glucoside Phosphate. Methyl Glucoside Phosphate: a monosaccharide derived from glucose to hydrate the skin and act as a humectant. Proline: an amino acid that is primarily used in anti-aging skincare products because of its ability to help improve skin elasticity, increase collagen production, and promote skin repair and regeneration. Lysine: an amino acid salt that plays a role in keeping the skin hydrated and produces supportive substances to keep the skin looking smooth and youthful. It also plays a role in collagen and elastin production. Copper reactivates Lysyl Oxidase, the enzyme that enables reticulation and maturation of collagens and elastin.
What is the best cleanser for rosacea?
Clarify Cleanser could work for sensitive skin. Revive Cleanser would be the last choice due to the 11 different botanical extracts that can sometimes be irritating to those specifically with rosacea. Please reach out to us for a sample to see what works for your skin before purchasing.
Can I use Meaga Glow while pregnant?
While our products are formulated with safety in mind, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before introducing any new skincare products during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Certain ingredients may warrant extra caution, and it's essential to prioritize both maternal and fetal health. Pregnant persons should avoid using skincare products that contain ingredients such as: sulfur, fragrance, parabens, retinoids, hydroquinone, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, chemical sunscreens, phthalates, sulfates, and some essential oils such as rosemary, clary sage, and tea tree.
How do I know if my retinol product is oxidized and no longer working?
Retinols will naturally oxidize over time; however, all of our formulas have been tested to remain stable and intact for 24 months with our accelerated stability testing. With that being said, they are safe to use and efficacious until they turn orange, brown, or if the product goes hard.
