Green Tea Extract

What it does

Rich in polyphenols, particularly EGCG, which support visible antioxidant protection. Helps reduce the appearance of redness and supports a clearer-looking complexion.

Glow notes

Green Tea Extract is derived from the Camellia sinensis plant and is rich in polyphenolic compounds known as catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). These compounds are studied for their antioxidant activity and ability to help reduce the visible appearance of inflammation and redness. In skincare, Green Tea Extract is used at concentrations around 5% for visible efficacy and is associated with supporting a clearer-looking complexion and reduced sebum appearance.
