Panthenol (Vitamin B5)

A pro-vitamin of B5 that hydrates, helps calm irritation, and supports barrier repair — found across nearly every Meaga Glow formula.

What it does

Acts as a humectant to help attract and retain moisture, supports barrier integrity, and helps calm the look of redness and irritation. Well-tolerated by all skin types.

Glow notes

Panthenol is the alcohol form of pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5). When applied to the skin, it converts into pantothenic acid — a coenzyme essential for cellular repair and fatty acid synthesis. As a humectant, panthenol draws moisture into the skin's surface. As an emollient, it helps soften and smooth. It is also one of the most skin-compatible ingredients available, making it a go-to for sensitive, compromised, and post-treatment skin. Clinical studies have demonstrated consistent improvements in skin hydration and barrier function with regular use. It appears in a wide range of Meaga Glow products — often listed on the INCI as 'Panthenol' or 'Panthenol (Provitamin B5)'.
